2. Coconut Water and Fresh Berry Popsicles for the 4th of July

Spending the day outdoors can be totally dehydrating. These adorable popsicles by Backtothebooknutrition.com are just fruit and hydrating coconut water. Easy, refreshing 2-ingredient Coconut Water and Fresh Berry Popsicles made with strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Very festive, and super hydrating. We use this popsicle mold.

3. Healthy 4th of July Flag Cake

This recipe by Megan Gilmore of Detoxinista.com is more about the decoration than the cake recipe. However, she does give a lovely recipe that is dairy and gluten-fee. The great thing about this cake is how easy it is to get the Stars and Stripes on a cake with just a few berries. I love the creativity.

4. Red White and Blue Potato Salad

Heather from heathercristo.com developed a beautiful red, white, and blue potato salad recipe that is allergen-free. This recipe does have bacon, so vegetarians (like me, would consider substituting sun dried tomatoes to replace the umami flavor of the bacon). Not quite as showy as some other red, white, and blue inspired recipes, but naturally beautiful.

5. Easy Red, White, and Blue Parfaits

This gorgeous parfait developed by By Katlyn Moncada from Betterhomesandgardens.com is so simple, it is all about the glass. Layer your favorite red fruits with plain yogurt and blueberries. Easy to make ahead for an easy 4th of July weekend snack or breakfast.
